Ok, I know I havent posted in a while.

Hey, sorry for the long delay. The life of a college student is extremely busy (dont listen to them, it is trust me). Well, my favorite band lost prophets has finally announced that they will have a new cd that is expected to be released sometime in august or september. Now, this is not confirmed officially, but supposedly the title will be "Gray Whales". Hmmm, I wonder what the symbolism will be behind this title. According to rumors all they have left to do is transitions and album work. Um, Im working this summer at a place relatively close to where I go to school. It is definately weird being completely away from the rents. Its not that I dont miss them but Ive kinda wanted to test the waters on my own. At this point i really dont know seems how it has only been a few weeks. The one thing that hasnt changed is the constant making just enough money to get by (ie gas, a few bills). Id play the lottery except that I know that I wont win. Ummmmmm, what else can I ramble about. The get a better car thing prolly wont happen at the end of this summer due to the whole shortage of money thingy problem. Now, I have chosen to critique a comment left to me about a previous post (this person will know what Im talking about). The answer is a definative no. Nor would I ever buy one (or you buy me one). Yesterday's Dear Abby

Well, I was reading yesterday’s Dear Abby and it happened to be about a recent male reader’s poll that she conducted. Apparently, 58% of male readers said that they regularly wear thongs and love them. On top of that, they seemed to prefer women’s thongs over male thongs, as the one’s designed for women are more comfortable. I have to say that I did not expect to read that and I must comment on this. One, anyone saying that “men who wear thongs are gay”, “get rid of the butt floss homo”, “you just wanna be a woman so you wear thongs…”, or anything like/ relating to that needs to get their stupid, ignorant b**** a** out of here. Your ignorance is not needed you homophobic jerk-off. My opinion is this: what kind of underwear you wear is your business. If you’re a chick who wears men’s briefs or a man who wears women’s underwear or thongs, that’s your beef. There are no underwear police, though there are those who think that they are lol. However, those with a SO (“Significant Other” for non-abbreviation people) might want to consult them first. Some SO are less accepting of “different things” than others. Now, when I had a conversation bout this, the person’s reply was that my dad would be shocked to hear me say that. Well, frankly, Id be worried that my dad wants to know what underwear I’m wearing… creepy much? I am not saying that I do wear women’s underwear or thongs, but I am open-minded about the idea. I’m not so much of an ignorant a**hole that I care what underwear other people are wearing (except SO). Ok, underwear check! You must be wearing the underwear legally designated for your sex…NOT. The only kind of “check” that people should be worried about are paychecks. Plus, for your information this opinion applies to those over the age of 18 like me. I will not get into the complex discussion about what your kids are and are not allowed to wear, including underclothes. Now, since I do have relatives who read this blog, I will address the nagging questions. You there in the back of the room: “Do you wear women’s underwear (this Dear Abby article to break the ice?” My answer is a no. You up front: “So do you wear women’s thongs and or would you ever consider it?” First question, the answer is a no I don’t. Second question about would I consider it, I have stated already in this post that I am open-minded to the slight possibility of maybe considering the notion stated. Can you understand my answer? No? Well that was the point. I made that one so foggy that I could be a politician lmao. Ok, the questions and answer session is over. This concludes the press conference about men wearing women’s thongs and the Coolidge Stoodint has no more to say (until my next post).

YESSS ITS FRIDAY!!!!

Thank goodness. Its finally Friday. Hey, do you know what time it is (glance over at nearest clock)? No, its not hammer time lmao, ITS PARTY TIME!!!! Weekends, plus nothing to do, equals parties. Oh wait, the X Games 13 is on all weekend (plus college basketball and NHL all star game), so never mind. I guess ill party by myself cuz Im such a special guy lol. Ten points to the reader who can figure out which song that reference came from (not my little sister). Ill give the answer to my little quiz at the end of my post, maybe. Anywho, ummm I dont know what else to write about. Hmmm, oh yea my pop is sending me some mulah, so thats cool. Part of it is to get new tags for the easy bake (inside joke), so I cant blow it all on drugs. Lol, dont do drugs kiddies. Itll mess up your developing brain. Yea, I completely suck at posting on time. If you have any further comments, please refer to this post's title. Well, after finals last semester, I went back to my old job at McDonald's over winter break so that I could earn a little cash. Not only did they work me so hard that I got sick, but I literally mean a little cash. I thought that I would have enough to get through the semester and I just might. I should be getting one more small check and if I dont spend alot on books I can get a couple hundred from that and I should be cool. Lets all hope and pray that it works out that way. Okay, I have several important new release notices. First, there will be a live action movie of Cowboy Bebop with (pardon the spelling) Keanu Reeves starring as Cowboy Bebop. Holy shit (thats one for confession lol) thats freakin awesome. If you cant handle that news then dont continue reading. On March 3rd 2009, U2 will be releasing there new album titled "No line on the Horizon". March 10th 2009 is the date for the release of the latest New Found Glory cd titled "Not without a Fight". Continuing on the punk scene, Green Day will release their newest album (no title yet) on an unannounced date in April of this year. Forget college, why isnt it March yet? Lol, I cant wait for all this new stuff to come out. Good Grief Charlie Brown

Ok, last post was in September. It is now almost the end of october and I have not posted anything for this month. That is depressing, its almost razor time depressing. Lol, just joking kiddies and germs, dont cut yourselves. Anywhoo, school is going really well. I took 2 tests and a quiz recently, two out of the three were general chemestry (last one was an american history test). The scores were one high C, one A, and lastly a perfect score. My favorite house chore of late has been cutting up firewood into fireplace lengths with a bow saw. I dont use a chain saw because all of that physical labor is good for the bod. Um, I got into an arguement with my lady on monday. Both she and I made some valid points. Everything now though is cool and should be for sometime. The job hunt has turned up a local outdoor yard work slash construction business that cannot seem to keep employees due to the physical demands of the job. It looks right up my alley and I will give the dude a call once I return from visiting the rents on my fall break this weekend. Um, its 1120pm and I cant think of anything else to post right now. As usual, will post when I remember. Im out...

Dude, Im a slacker

I have not posted ANYTHING in 17 days, I fail at life. Only one positive thing about it though, NEW RECORD of 17 days between posts. In a way that makes me smile. Well, school has been really busy since then and I have had three tests that I took. Well, I haven't watched any football yet today cuz I wanna get my studying in early so that I can watch the Georgia vs Bama game and the Penn State vs Illinois game tonight. Wow, Im actually being good for once. SHHH, don't tell anyone lol. In other news, it poured buckets the other night, giving us some much needed rain. The only problem is that its 80 degrees outside today and that makes it so humid you can chew it. Looks like I may like studying inside today even more now. My lady went to Sani Belle Island for her make a wish trip and she returns back today with 50 pounds worth of sea shells (well not really but its probably pretty close). I will try to go camping in Shenandoa for Columbus Day weekend and make huge bonfires in the woods. In a side note, St. Brendan of Ireland was the first to discover America around 650 AD. Thats even before Leaf Erricksson, the Viking explorer dude. Television highlights include Fringe and Supernatural, they are freakin awesome. SPOILER ALERT: Dean gets brought out of hell by an angel to try and stop Lilith again. Um, the job search isn't going well so far, as Ihaven'y had any responses from the applications that I put in. So, lol, the save poor college students foundation will be accepting donations while the job searches continue. Man, I crack myself up sometimes. Well, I might post again later on tonight, it depends on if I remember to or not.

Wow two posts in less than a week

I cant believe that I have posted again so soon. I think that I should get a medal lol. Anyway, in local news there was a building collapse of an extremely large unfinished building near the intersection of Route 10 and Route 1. The regional rescue task force made up from squads from several counties are on site to handle the rescue effort. According to the 6pm news (it is 7:22pm on Sept. 10th 2008) that the next 32 to 48 hours is going to be focused on rescue efforts only. At this point they are only worried about people and after the 32 to 48 hours are up then all effort will concentrate on how, why, AND ALL THAT JAZZ. At this point, only one person is reported killed but details about the person havent been released. In later posts I will give further updates as I watch the local news. Chemistry is going ok. I have chem lab tomorrow and I will give the details of teh lab tomorrow. Per bookwormom's request, significant figures (in chemistry) is basically rounding numbers up or down really complicated. Complicated enough to where even the mathly gifted people like myself find it annoying. In history, on friday we will finally start to talk about jamestown. Nutrition is going well and I find all of this stuff to be interesting. Too bad my love of mac and cheese has already poisoned my brain HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Um, what else do I want to talk about? Oh yea, the new season of supernatural starts next thursday at 9pm and is at that same bat time and channel untill the season ends. I cant wait. HURRICANE WARNING!!!!!

This storm will be dangerous my rear end. What I did get (when I was awake) was nothing that the occasional thunder storm could not deliver. Sadly, all of the good stuff came while I was asleep. Now, why couldn't I have gotten a tree throwing, house tearing, we aren't in Kansas anymore storm? I mean, sure the destruction and loss of life and limb isn't good. BUT ITS SURE AS HELL COOL TO WATCH lol. Oh well, I will just have to wait for the next storm cuz hurricane season ain't over yet boys, yeeeha!!!!! Lmao, I do crack myself up sometimes. I guess that its time to talk about school some. I mean its not like I titled this blog Tales of a College Student, wait..... So I had my second chemistry quiz on Friday and I'm sure that I got a 90%. I accidentally put O2 (negative 2 charge), which is peroxide, as the answer for "what is the formula for oxalate?" Oh, by the way the answer was actually C2O4 just in case anybody was wondering. My history class is going really well (American History to 1865), partly due to the fact that my teacher is awesome. Normal Nutrition is REALLY interesting. Apparently, on the my food pyramid government website thingy, if you register and put in what you eat, it will tell me exactly how fat I am and how much mac and cheese I shouldnt have eaten lol. I can tell you right now that I wont be changing anything even though eventually this will prolly be a required assignment. I think that the assignment should be named HOW FAT ARE YOU REALLY? Lol, I know that I am not fat, I hope..... All of my other classes are fine. Chem lab isnt really that hard, except that my teacher wants us to always use significant figures. COMPLETELY ANNOYING!!!!!!! Anyway, either tonight or tomorrow I will post my College Football Special on the Florida vs U.Miami game. Now, come back yall ya hear? rotflmao....

College Football Special

On Monday night, I watched the UCLA vs. Tenn. game on ESPN. The first half of the game was completely dominated by the Vols (Tenn. to all non sports people). Note, the first and second string quarterbacks for the Bruins (UCLA) are both injured, so they are down to their third string quarterback Kevin Craft. In the first half of the game alone, he threw FOUR interceptions. Not to mention all of his bad pass decisions and the fact that almost all of his passes were underthrown. Starting in the second half, Mr. Craft was the complete opposite. You would have to have watched the whole game to understand this, but I will try my best. He would throw 25 passes total and complete 18, one of which was a touchdown pass. The scoring drive would be 6 for 6 completed throws with the touchdown. Now, UCLA would score a touchdown with 44 seconds on the clock in the fourth quarter. Score is Tenn. 21 UCLA 24. Can the Vols tie the game with a field goal? After all, their kicker has a range of up to 48 yards and in this game has missed 3 field goal attempts (all were over 50 yard attempts though). AND HE MAKES THE FIELD GOAL FROM 47 YARDS, WE ARE GOING INTO OVERTIME. Coin toss, Vols win and decide to defend first. First two pass attempts by Craft fail, along with a two yard running play. Field goal attempt, AND ITS GOOD. Now, on the Vols first drive they get the first down a bit too easily in my opinion. Second 1st down drive and they can only get 7 yards in three plays, so its time for a field goal from 38 yards to send this game to a 2nd overtime. From 38 yards out, the Vols miss the attempt AND THE UCLA BRUINS HAVE BEATEN TENN. IN OVERTIME!!!!!!!! Tune in later on this week for more College Football Specials and maybe some NFL reports (if I can remember lol).

Apologize'n for the delay

Yea, its been a while and once again Ive failed at my promise to post everyday. Well, everyone can sue me because Ive started college classes. I have classes four days a week from mid morning to mid afternoon. They are going well so far and LOTS of studying, even at the end of the first full week. In general chemistry, the thing that I'm studying is naming polyatomic ions and basic acids. In American history, we just finished Christopher Columbus. Um, nutrition class we just finished the basic stuff. Lipids are also known as fats. Vitamins and minerals don't give you energy and they are essential. I seriously hope that the cool stuff comes up soon, not that all of it is not interesting anyhow. My music class is pretty interesting now that its not at 8am. Hey everyone, guess what started last night??? COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!!!!!! At first, I was watching the NC State - U. South Carolina game. It was good up until the second half, as S.C. started to turn NC into miracle whip. SOOOO, up one channel to the Stanford - Oregon State game. Fricken awesome, except for that I fell asleep during the third quarter (I think). None the less, for the portion that I saw, very good game. Since college football has started, I will be posting a College football special everytime I have watched a game (with much more detailed accounts for sure). IDK, Can you imagine that I have a better title?

Well, it turns out that there was an armed robbery of a united bank down the street from my house. The 2 teens tried to get away on a motor scooter and went down Route 1 where they were stopped in a school parking lot (Im assuming Freedom High). They were caught. Some people are soooo stupid. Oddly enough, Ive seen a motor scooter that looked very similar one day while I was waiting for the bus one day, hmmmmm. Anyway, I cant wait until the olympics start at 8pm tonight. That Micheal Phelps guy is supposed to be competing for two more gold medals tonight. Ok, now I love the United States and all of its glory but can somebody other than the US and China win medals? I mean come on now, give us something interesting. But since thats never going to happen, I hope that the US beats china in every competition cuz the Chinese get so much bias preference in competition. Im going to stop this topic now since I know that Im going to get some colorful comments from my family. Tonight Im gonna have one of my favorite dinners, STOUFFER'S MAC AND CHEESE!!!!!! I think you might be able to tell I cant wait for dinner. Um, that's all of the random thoughts that I have for now so stay tuned. Same bat time, same bat channel lol.

First Post

Nothing much happening today, I'm just hanging out. My last day at work was Sunday seems how I'm going back to school. That is, I'm a sophmore at College of William and Mary. I start next week and going back to class is definately much better than working at McDonald's, although the experience is definately a motivation for going to college. Every once in a while, I will publish reviews about almost anything including anime, rock bands, and movies. Ill post later on today.
